Jepessen FLITE STAR and FLITE SCHOOL
PC software for Flight Planning and Ground School. Busy schedules dictate personalized training solutions. These two products fit the bill. FLITE STAR makes flight planning a breeze. It does weight and balance, fuel calculations, lets you plot the course by clicking on your waypoints and destinations. Creates your flight log, calls Duat for winds and weather, and prints your Flight Nav Log. You can also print out information for each airport including radio frequencies and runway layout. It's important that you learn the steps in preparing a flight plan. But it's nice to know that we have the tools to make this process minutes instead of hours.
For those of you who don't have time to attend our weekly ground schools, FLITE SCHOOL is something you should consider. A PC product that includes Quick Time video clips and covers all the information content for the Written Exam. Includes quizzes for each chapter and the Final Exam. If you pass the final with 80% or better, we will provide you with a letter of recommendation for the Private Pilot Written Examination. Also available at Diamond for Instrument, Commercial and ATP ratings.
