Eliot Floersch, CFI, CFII, MEI
Married to Keira, one child and another on the way!
Birthdate November, 20, 1970
I became a flight instructor to improve my own flying skills. What I didn't
realize was how rewarding a profession it was until training students
through successful checkrides and seeing the pleasure that flying brings to
pilots and their families. Working at Diamond, I've had the pleasure of
being a part of a friendly atmosphere and I'm able to instruct in a well
maintained, outstanding fleet of aircraft, that is always improving. I moved
to Sacramento but I still prefer to commute here to instruct rather than
compromise and fly at a less safety conscious flight school.
I'd like to share with others what I've learned so far, as well as the
thrill of flying.
Experience:
I have 1600 hours of total time and 300 hours of multi-engine. I specialize
in crosswind training, mountain flying, and GPS instrument approach
instruction. I have ben flying in the Bay Area for 10 years.
Interests:
I moved to Sacramento to be closer to the Sierra Nevadas... I enjoy skiing,
snowboarding, river rafting, spelunking, mountain biking, and anything else
that has me ascending, descending or traversing the hills.
Goals:
I would like to return to the medical profession and someday become an
aero-medical rescue pilot.
Quote:
To most people, the sky is the limit. To those who love flying, the sky is
home and Vne is the limit!
